Why art aids every creative field
Initially though, art meant re-creation, imitating real life events and scenarios. Overtime the meaning of art changed and became highly subjective, blurring the lines between dimensional aspects and the relationship between object and subject.
Even though the means has altered its form with time, art remains primarily a creative medium of story telling. Tales of the past, epics, visions of the future are all captured through art. Its important for creative fields today to create ideas and objects that evoke an emotional response with its user and using art as the first step in designing these products is essential as the creator has a manner to engage with the thought and its association before it sees the world.
Art also enables multiple iterations of a product before it reaches its user, something that the creator can take advantage of, numerous times. These simulations, so as to speak, help in gauging success and failures, even before the product or idea witnesses it in real life.
Culture, in many ways, aspires to create meaningful things, be it a harmonious melody, or a colorful garland, and the aim of art is to give its user a meaningful association and imbibe a sense of purpose through the eyes of the consumer.
